Our team

The Space Geodesy team (GS) of the French Space Agency (CNES) is in charge of the Earth gravity field's modelization from ground-satellite measurements and space data of the gravity missions CHAMP and GRACE. The team develops the GINS/DYNAMO software package and uses its muti-technics capability (DORIS, GPS, VLBI, SLR, LLR, Xover, DSN, KSB…) for terrestrial and planetary orbitography and terrestrial kinematics studies.

CLS, a subsidiary of CNES, offers satellite services in location and data collection to a broad range of professionals. It also conducts activities in the field of space geodesy and space weather. In the frame of the collaboration with the CNES/GS team, CLS's geodesy team operates the GINS processing chain of space geodesy data (GPS, DORIS, SLR) for orbitography, terrestrial kinematics and thermosphere, develops algorithms for the GINS software, and participates to the CNES/CLS Analysis Center for the International GNSS Service and the International DORIS Service.
